Six deserving seniors from our member high schools were each awarded the Margie Hatfield Scholarship at the general membership meeting held on April 12 at Walton High School. The ECCC PTA is deeply indebted to Mrs. Hatfield for her continued active support of the program, as well as our schools and community partners who support the program. Good luck to our graduates!

2012 Margie Hatfield Schoalrship Winners with Mrs. Hatfield

The Margie Hatfield Scholarship was established in 1990 in honor of Margie Hatfield, ECCC PTA President from 1997-1980. Margie continues to work for the welfare and education of young people. Funded by the local units of ECCC PTA and donations from community members, up to six scholarships are granted annually to one senior from each ECCC PTA high school. Awards are based on an applicant’s academic attendance, citizenship, leadership, extracurricular activities, and service to the community which promotes the PTA spirit of volunteerism.
