Title 1, what does that mean?

What is means is that these schools are at a high poverty risk and high academic at risk. And while the county has strategic plans currently in place for each of these schools, we as the community can also do our part to help level the playing field for these students who have not chosen this path for themselves.

In order for a school to reach Title 1 status they have to be 50% free and reduced lunch for Elementary and 75% free and reduced lunch for middle and high school.
